Club Championships

Every year Steep Lawn Tennis Club organises and runs their Club Championships, these are a series of events for Adult and Junior members to play competitive Singles and Doubles with the Finals day in early July.

The winners and runners up are presented with trophies and the winners’ names are added to the honours boards displayed in the clubhouse.

When possible we run the following tournament categories

• Mens Singles
• Ladies Singles
• Mens Doubles
• Ladies Doubles
• Mixed Doubles
• Mixed Handicap doubles
• Junior Boys Singles (16/U, 14/U, 12/U)
• Junior Girls Singles (16/U, 12/U)

Jumbles

We also run a number of more informal Jumbles tournaments. These are events where participants turn upon the day and are allocated a parter for the competition, then play a number of matches to gain points, with the Man and Lady with the highest score winning prizes.
