Under the very cold and windy conditions which have been a constant feature of matches throughout the winter season, the "Bees Knees" managed to live up to their name once more by beating Alresford 'B' 7 sets to 1.

Steep 1's Graham Swan and Maria Nash won 6-1, 6-1 against the Alresford 2's and 7-5, 6-3 against the Alresford 1's. Steep 2's Michele and David Mangham lost the first set against Alresford 1's, 3-6, but took the second set 6-1. They had a much better time against the Alresford 2's winning 6-2, 6-1.
