Steep Ladies 'B' travelled to Denmead and played under arctic conditions.

Both teams could barely move as they were all wearing hats, scarves and gloves throughout the match to combat the bitter sub-zero wind. Steep 1's, Michele Mangham (captain) and Maria Nash got off to a good start taking the first set from the Denmead 2's but somehow lost focus under the horrible conditions losing the second set. They continued in this manner losing the first set to the Denmead 1's. However, with the finishing line in sight Michele and Maria had a sudden surge taking the second set fairly easily. Steep 2's, Helen Marsh and Jane Martin lost both sets to the Denmead 1's but had a much better result against the Denmead 2's taking both sets. An away draw 4-4 for Steep Ladies 'B'.
