Victory for Steep Mixed 'B' at home v Denmead.

Very few of the Mixed 'B' squad were available to play against Denmead who,undefeated so far this season, had sent out their coach and some very good youngsters in the previous match away. David and Michele Mangham stepped up to the challenge and were rewarded by winning 4 sets 6-4, 7-6, 6-1, 6-1. Bruce Mellstrom and Sharon Russ helped secure an overall 5 set win by fighting hard and taking 1 set: 7-5, 2-6, 6-7, 3-6. A result Captain Nash was thrilled to hear about on her return from a rainy holiday in Cornwall. Well done 'Bees Knees' we should stay in Division 2 now.
