SLTC, founded in 1906, and affiliated to the LTA, is set in unrivalled National Park countryside on the edge of Steep village near Petersfield in East Hampshire. It is run by a Committee of player members.

Sun May 13th - Wimbledon Ballet, BBQ and Jumbles Tournament.
After the strange phenomenon of so much rainfall during a drought it was fingers crossed for the organizers of the annual Steep Tennis Club Wimbledon Ballot, BBQ and Jumbles Tournament.
Sun April 15th - Steep Aegon Team record victory in first match of the season.
Steep Tennis Club's Aegon Team got off to a flying start with a victory over highly rated Totally Tennis Basingstoke.
Sat March 24th - Steep Ladies "A" finish winter season on top.
On a beautiful sunny day, Michele Mangham (captain), Judy Entress, Jo Goodship and Maria Nash went to Newman Collard to play the final away match of the season. The team needed to win 3 points in order to gain promotion from Div 2 to Div 1 in the East Hants Winter League.
